E-Rechnung Konverter changelog

The homepage got a quieter look. Warm grey instead of cold blue-grey, flat cards without shadows, and a plain list where the trust badges used to be. Next to the headline you now see a sample of the invoice fields the checker reads, so it's clear what happens before you upload anything. The upload, the checker and the prices work exactly as before.

I added a page at erechnungpruefen.de/e-rechnung-abschlagsrechnung on partial, construction and final invoices in XRechnung: the allowed type codes (326, 875, 876, 877), referencing earlier invoices, and deducting prepayments in the final invoice.

I added a page on XRechnung 4.0 at erechnungpruefen.de/xrechnung-4-0: the pre-release from September 2026, the final release expected in spring 2027 per xeinkauf.de, and the new BT-24 CustomizationID. It also explains why 3.0 stays valid until at least 31 July 2027.

I added a page on correcting a wrong e-invoice at erechnungpruefen.de/e-rechnung-gutschrift-korrektur: the difference between Storno, kaufmännische and umsatzsteuerliche Gutschrift, and which invoice type codes (381, 384, 389) and references to the original invoice belong in the XML.

I added a page on sending an E-Rechnung by email: the XML or ZUGFeRD file goes in as an attachment, how to name it, and when email isn't enough and you need Peppol or a government portal.

I added a page for clubs and associations on what the e-invoice rules mean for them, since a Verein has its own questions there. And a page on Peppol vs. XRechnung - what a Peppol ID and an access point are, and when email or a portal is enough.

A free page at erechnungpruefen.de/e-rechnung-verein explains when a Verein must receive and send e-invoices, the deadlines, and gives a checklist for Vorstand and Kasse.

I'm a Kleinunternehmer now, so the 19 € and 49 € repairs are the final price - no VAT on top and none on the invoice. I also added a page on archiving e-invoices, linked from the GoBD and e-invoice receiving pages.

There's a new free page on erechnungpruefen.de about archiving XRechnung and ZUGFeRD invoices under GoBD. The XML is the original, you keep it for 8 years, and you validate it before filing.

Checking an XRechnung or ZUGFeRD file on erechnungpruefen.de/service stays free, and so does the converter on the home page. Downloading the repaired file with a short report now costs €19 per file or €49 for five, paid through Stripe. I'm a Kleinunternehmer, so there's no VAT (§ 19 UStG) - the checkout and the invoice say so.

The checker, converter, API and template pages now live on their own domain, erechnungpruefen.de. Old vercel.app links forward there permanently, so bookmarks keep working. API calls to the old address still go through without a redirect.

The page /gobd-verfahrensdokumentation is a free eight-part checklist and a €29 document that is not bookable yet. The waitlist stores an email address and sends no mail.

The check is now an API as well. With a free key you get 50 checks a month, and the docs page plus an OpenAPI description show how to call it.

If an XRechnung or ZUGFeRD file fails the check, you can now have it repaired. It gets checked, the common errors get fixed, it gets checked again, and you download the result with a report. If the check already failed, you don't have to upload the file a second time. There's also a sample broken invoice to try it without your own file.

You can now open an XRechnung right in the browser and read it as an invoice. Every rule the check can fail has a German message, and clicking one jumps to the field it's about. There's also a reference page for the error codes. The checker reads UBL invoices and credit notes too, and it no longer warns about IBANs that are fine.

The XRechnung converter is live. Upload a PDF invoice and get XRechnung and ZUGFeRD back, checked against the official XRechnung 3.0.2 rules. The file is not stored.
